Mayor’s Thames Festival is ‘running’ on the waterside of London. This year it is bigger than previous years. Until 15th September come on over and enjoy the party with Hyde Park Hotels. Westpoint hotel and Abbey Court hotel are 10 minutes walking from where all the fun is. This annual event it is unique and has a lot to offer to all visitors. Walkers, swimmers, kayakers, rowers, sailors, anyone who loves river can join this incredible event.

This year the calendar is even more attractive. You can join in a cruise with Dan Cruickshank. The famous National Geographic and BBC presenter will take you on an architectural tour of London’s bridges. From the past to present, the art historian will show how these Bridges have shaped London’s history.

Thames Festival has a lot more to offer.  From climate change, geography and cartography to literature, cinema, art and architecture. Choose what attracts you more and enjoy this party in the riverside.

Do you want to know all the secrets and stories from river Thames? This year celebrated authors and Blue Badge Guides will show fascinating walking exploration of London’s famous river. And why not doing it with a chorus? On 15th September 600 London school children will perform a repertoire of songs inspired by the maritime history.

This year we do not have fireworks and the usual night carnival. That is alright. We all can handle a party without fireworks and dancing. Check how you can celebrate London’s river at  http://thamesfestival.org/
